What does your service include?
Our gutter system deep cleaning includes hand removal of all debris, sediment and gravel. All downpipes are checked for clogs, and elbows are snaked or removed as necessary to remove blockages. All gutters and downpipes are thoroughly flushed with water to ensure proper drainage and water flow. Any problems and potential maintenance issues will be promptly reported to you. All debris is bagged and removed from the premises. All paths, patios and lawn areas are checked for residual debris from the clean. We will take complimentary before and after photos so that you can see that the work has been completed to your satisfaction.
Do you repair or replace gutters?
Yes we are able to repair or replace gutter, rainwater goods, soffit and facials for an extra fee.
Do you use pressure washers or leaf blowers to clean gutters?
Never! Using a pressure washer to blast out guttering will usually get mud, foliage and sediment all over your home’s walls and windows, paths, deck, (and over your neighbour’s property also!) A leaf blower is good at getting dry leaves out of your gutters (and all over your lawn and sidewalks!), but it is useless for removing sludge, sediment and gravel. That is why the gutter technicians at B&K do all work by hand to ensure a quality clean every time.
Will you clean up after yourselves?
The goal of our technicians is to leave your property cleaner than they found it. That is why we put all gutter and downspout debris into large rubbish bags and take it away. We will make sure that all paths, lawns and patio areas are free of any residual debris from gutter cleaning.
Do I need to be home when you clean my gutters?
Not unless you want to, or unless there are pets that need to be put up, or gates that need to be unlocked. Typically, as long as we have access to a water tap, we can just get on with deep cleaning your gutters and downpipes etc. When we are finished, we will leave your home pristine, however unless agreed previously we would require payment before carrying out work on an unoccupied property.
What if it rains the day of my appointment?
If persistent, heavy rain or severe thunderstorms are forecast, we will call you to reschedule. Otherwise, we will keep the appointment.
